I'm an officer in a Luxon Alliance Leader but am currently working on Kurzick HFFF and find myself with 10K faction I need to get rid of. I can get the amber chunks or scrolls but would rather donate it to an alliance for the double points.

I was told there is a way to do this as a guest of a Kurzick guild or some other way. I'd prefer not to have to change guilds to do this.

Any help appreciated.

you need to receive a guest invite from a kurzik guild and u can dump your points in their gh

No you can only get opposite alliance skills. Not dump faction.

As far as I know, the only way you can donate faction is through your guild. You would need to transfer over to a Kurzick guild and get double faction this way.

But maybe I'm doing it wrong.

No. We honorable kurzicks will pull you into the dark recesses of the Echovald and rip your bastard Luxon ass in two. We'll then throw your torn up remains to the Wardens and Wallows, who will gladly munch your mangled Luxon corpse.

Finally, we will charge into Cavalon alongside Juggernauts, eat turtle stew, write "Suxon" all over the walls, and stick Elder Rhea's head on a pike.

Or, you can just get guested to a Kurzick guild and donate to the Kurzick allegiance NPC there.

If you get opposite faction you either go to the guildhall of the guild who guested you or go to their main faction city (Cavalon or House). You can get faction for getting either skills or jade/amber

No, you cannot transfer faction to alliances of the opposite side. If you want titles (I dont think so becouse you don't say so) the best way would be buying luxon/kurdick PvE skills on all of your characters and when you run out of characters make a new one and delete them afterwards.

There's nothing honorable about an emo goth Kurzick. Anyway, just so I'm clear on this (because I've been trying to do this)....if I'm a member of a Luxon guild, but I'm working on my Kurzick title, I cannot get a guest invite to a Kurzick guild to donate faction for double title points? I can only buy scrolls/skills/amber (which I could do at HZH) and NOT get the double points?

That means I would have to leave the Lux guild, get invited to a Kurz guild, dump the faction then get invited back to my original guild. Is that correct?

Correct. (Though you will get double points for buying Kurz skills even if you're in a Luxon guild. But, obviously, this only helps as long as you have characters that don't have all the skills.)

Okay so when did this change? This necro'd thread shows people in 2008 saying you can't donate for double faction through a guest invite to a guild of the opposite faction, and here we have people in 2011 saying the same thing.

However back when I was playing this game a lot a year and a half or so ago I know I was able to get a guest invite into a luxon guild if I was in a Kurzick guild and I could donate luxon points for double faction.

When did this change? Or did it?

I've never been able to donate faction as a guest for a guild of opposite faction. If you want to donate faction, you need to be in a guild that corresponds to that faction (so only people in kurzick guilds can donate kurzick faction to an alliance). Apparently anyone can buy skills with a guest invite, but I've never tried.

You need to be lvl 20 to get the pve skills right, so this would be a very long road. Easier must be to leave the guild and join the other side. :/

Some people may be confusing the Quests, Befriending the Luxon's/Kurzick's. It was quite common back before FA/JQ reworks to get a guest invite and go AB for your 10k then complete the quests.

I have never been able to donate to other side,although I did buy jade shards at the weekend and received the faction bonus.
